Drop Max King
Simply doesn't work hard enough, we've had plenty of people complaining our structure doesn't work due to too many smalls etc. In my opinion our structure isn't working because King doesn't go to work.
Doesnt repeat lead
Doesnt chase
Doesnt keep his feet
Doesnt fn kick easy goals
Plenty of talent but needs to learn that being a superstar requires hard work. If he is looking for an example he can look to Buddy tonight.
Ryder, Higgins, McKenzie, Hill
For
King, Jones (susp and kicking poorly), Paton, Byrnes

Re: Drop Max King
Ask the umpires what he has to do to get a free kick. Disgusting the treatment he received again tonight

Re: Drop Max King
Get rid of the forward coach for a start….if King is that good why does he lead to pockets ? Why aren’t our alleged forward spreading our allowing for more options? Why are we so predictable.

Again
The ‘coach’
Players take accountability for their performance
Coach can’t mark, kick, tackle for them

Re: Drop Max King
Any forward would struggle having to play with our midfield delivering the ball…

Coach can setup a decent forward structure though

No one said any of that.bangaulegend wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jun 2022 11:03pm Yep that will fix all our issues ,Max is the reason we kick only kicked 4 goals in a full game of AFL football I would delist him tomorrow if only we had someone better . Hang on we don't I will give him another week
His work rate is terrible. Capable of owning a game but isn't doing the work to do it.
If Higgins and Billings are dropable so is he.
Added benefit, we won't be as predictable

Re: Drop Max King
He's got a real deficiency and it's his attitude and mindset which is fragile and a liability to the team when
No question he'll be getting a chance to work through his deficiency at Sandy next week.
Ironically he'll get to play with Sharman 2 weeks in a row.

Re: Drop Max King
We need to learn how to use King best we have Members & when Ryder plays Marshall yet we consistently bombard it to Kings head hoping because he is tall & agile he will do it all ,our delivery into the forward 50 is slow & predictable not to mention when under pressure disgr
not sure how we turn it around? You can see windy,Owens & NMW are going to improve us quite a lot but where the rest comes from not sure?

Re: Drop Max King
Yeah but he can control his movement or lack there of and his decision to go to ground all the time.

Re: Drop Max King
King just doesn't doo enough at this stage. I don't think they'll drop him but he drops easy marks, misses easy goals, seems very slow, doesn't chase, doesn't really lead. Yes, I know he's kicked 35 goals this year but, still.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Re: Drop Max King
Sell MK to the highest bidder....so long as we get at least 3 first-round picks.
Any other team (except North) will rain flags with him up front.
And the Saints will get another 3 gun pick to waste.
