Why Joyce as the sub? He can’t cover too many positions. Would he be expected to play in the ruck?

Not sure what Joyce being the sub does for the team, but for Joyce himself it increases his games played tally by 1 even if he's on the pine for the full game. There's no separate AFL stat for being pinedmeher baba wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jun 2022 7:52pm Why Joyce as the sub? He can’t cover too many positions. Would he be expected to play in the ruck?
for a full game.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

If we lose a forward or midfielder I'm not sure Joyce can play that role obviously you can shuffle the team around to fit him in if needed but very strange sub IMO. IMO Joyce plays in the team as a defender or not at all

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 15 2022
Early days, but contrast king with buddy.
King - Manning the mark 40m out and syd player gives a handball - recieving player ran right near him, but no chase. Hands on hips.
Meanwhile, buddy has laid 2 pretty decent tackles, one of which gets him a holding the ball free. Working up and back much better.
Hope he gets more into it as the game goes on.

Why? We have done f*** all and Sydney have already kicked the first goal. The beginning of the end of season for us
St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

That's why Butler is in the side. Higgins needs to do the same.

It is ironic that King got Rooey's jumper. They are both flawed champions. They can't f****** kick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh for God's sake commentators Zak Jones didn't come off his line he just braced for impact as the Sydney player ran into him.
