Re: Mach thread: saints v bombers
Kudos to Ratts, he said everyone keeps talking about a tough draw, he said every game is tough and if we play like that well we won't win.
Moved on to talk about mental health as that's what Spuds game is about.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Mach thread: saints v bombers
Many seem to want Clarkson as coach. If he took over I suggest the following players that played tonight would never play again for SK:
Hill
Webster
Ross
Jones
Howard
The following would be told to get your sh. t together quickly or get lost:
Paton
Gresham
Butler
Billings
Marshall
Crouch
Butler
Ones that would be cosseted and encouraged:
Higgins
NWM
Clark
Another thing. We got done over by Port using their sub inappropriately (obviously the AFL doesn’t care). How the f…k did Windhager get left on the bench? Why wouldn’t you take the non-performing squib off and inject some passion. I’m a poofteenth from writing Ratten off.

Too small again and not hard enough. I don't believe the players in the main are soft they are just not hard enough - not like say McKenzie or Wilkie. Spuds game is now ironic.

I'm seriously starting to doubt if Ratten is the man to lead us to the Holy Grail .IMO I would put contract arrangements on hold till the end of the season .

Don’t blame the puppet in the stands for pulling the wrong strings. The game was lost between the ears of the pussys on thd ground.

Re: Mach thread: saints v bombers
Good question. He appears to accept mediocrity from favoured players and drops those not in the loop.SaintJohno wrote: ↑Fri 17 Jun 2022 11:37pm If Ratts isn't able to inspire these guys for a really emotional game, is he really the guy that's going to get a premiership out of them?

Not a sick measuring comp. I haven’t seen one in my lifetime so I don’t like mediocrity

Re: Mach thread: saints v bombers
Stop picking them in the team then..
And even non natural players can show some heart and intensity. Those players should be ashamed of themselves.
