Owens game today better than any from the three young rookies so far. Still not up with Hayes.

Easy win, but pretty clunky in patches. Still too much haphazard high kicking into the forward half. Looking at the Sandy game, no real standouts to put pressure on the senior team- Billings and Butler not really standing out, and North getting right back into that game.

Owens was good, still raw and will make way for others coming back bit an ideal game to get him into.

NWM has a mixture of sublime skill such as the kick to King on a lead, and then some strange decisions. Needs to cover space better when defending.

Uninspiring game. Owens is as tough as they come. In two more seasons he'll be a powerhouse. Nice to see we've recruited three youngsters in one draft who are clearly talented.

We got through unscathed with 8 wins at the halfway mark of the season. We should all be happy with that.
