This international cricketer (born September 14, 1911, died July 20, 2000) played 2 Test matches in 1936.

He shares his first and last name with a player currently on St Kilda's list.

1. What is the players name?
2. Which country did he play cricket for?

Glenn Elliott as a 19yo played in 71 grand final

and was a hard nut and was instrumental in the great saints sides of 72-73 and 78

then again maybe it's not

Sure is! Used to wear #8, mainly in the centre or in a ruck roving role.

Gary Lofts?

Played as a small forward, wore number 16 and made a comeback wearing number 2.

In 1983 the Saints scored 9 goals 20 behinds in a 69 point loss to the Hawks.
Who were the two main culprits for the Saints that kicked 2.13 between them?

Looking at the encyclopaedia of league football and a couple of other sources, one of the players I'm thinking of wasn't playing in 1983. So either they did it in another game or my memory has failed me again.

So I'll do a different question.

What is the lowest attendance the Saints have had in the last 20 years at a premiership game? Against who, where and what year?

Which two players were involved in a punch up in the stairwell of the social club in the 80's at Moorabbin ?

Sadly, although it seems like yesterday for some of us, 1980 is more than 20 years ago.

The question was in the last 20 years, so 1986 would be a good starting point.

How about....
Manuka Oval, Canberra 2001 V Kangaroos Crowd 10958.

Having said that, I reckon there may have been a smaller crowd at Carrara v Brisbane BEARS but I don't know which year.

I remember in about 96 we played Fitzroy at the Whitten Oval in one of their last games.
Must have only been 7 or 8 thousand people their.
Round 19 I think.

The attendance for this game was less than seven thousand. As I recall, it was one of the coldest winter's days on record.

We were playing a Victorian team in Melbourne.

OK - think I got it this time...

1986 St Kilda v Hawthorn at Princes Park ... Crowd was a massive 6488.
How did they fit them all in, and before the Legends stand was built too. :P
