Actually, I do enjoy Ted's input, with or without a source. Is probably correct just as often as the "official" sources. Also has some common sense to posts, unlike other posters. Keep posting Ted.

Just a fyi about a heraldsun article on the Shiel choosing Essendon its a average article but there is a very interesting paragraph in there:
"The second was with the club’s leadership group at the Little Sunflower cafe in Elwood, the third with Campbell a day or two after the Grand Final to explore opportunities off field and the fourth with Dodoro alone, a casual catch-up a day or two after Campbell."
Campbell being the Essendon CEO

You definitely look to see any treasures ( like Steele)
But when there's a big price tag they've got to be consistently in top 3 at their club, no injuries and minimal psychotic breaks from reality that cause them to fly to New York, go to a night club in your dressing gown and then grab a women's hips and try to dry hump her....in front of her partner...oh and you're definitely drunk.
If we keep draft PCI ks and just keep building our youth with a light sprinkle of talent traded in or picked up for crumbs ( not as much heroes as player/coaches in the rooms & practice...helpjg confirm culture of discipline & focus)

I hate Essendon and am so glad Shiel chose them. My secret shame is I’m on an Essendon fan site and troll them. Since last year I have been bagging Shiel and McGrath. At first they all defended them, over rating their useless possessions but now everyone hates them. I watch their games very closely. I get nearly as much enjoyment from watching them lose as I do from us winning.
