Well it’s apparently not too obvious to some…The Fireman wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:24pmSo all you do is sprout the bleeding obvious ?The_Dud wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:17pmYep, I’m happy to say they’re playing sh*t when they’re playing sh*t.
I also said at half time we could still win the game if we pulled our finger out, which we did.
And I’m comfortable to do that rather than bury my head in the sand.
Each to their own tho.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
We were way under the AFL averages for conversion in the first half
At half time they restricted our efficiency going inside 50 and we looked like we had no composure at times
Massive second half and close to our best footy for the year in 3rd. By full time we were above the AFL average
25 shots from 52 entries (48%). Geelong finished with 25 shots from 51 inside 50’s (49%)

Has never been soft, I’ve seen him do that countless times.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:21pm For all those who have bagged JB using the "soft" or "hears footsteps" as your bullsh1te excuse for not liking him, just put his mark in the last quarter on loop. A fit and firing Billings will be a great asset to the team

I will second that!
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

I have to admit I wasn’t that fussed about him not being in the side but he certainly turned me around tonight. Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
Billings was great in the second half. He just knows where to run. Windhager was very good, having 14 touches in the second half. One his confidence grows he'll be a very good player. Between him and NWM, we have come up trumps n the 2021 draft. Owens will be a player, too.
Jones thankfully got his touch back as the game progressed and the importance of playing Sharman showed today. He keeps the opposition intercept defender occupied. We must play three marking forwards

Agree with all. Sharman is Robert Redford, he's a natural forward just runs & presents in all the spots defenders don't want him in or at.cwrcyn wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:41pm Billings was great in the second half. Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
Letting Zac Touhy break a tackle like Dustin Martin?
Gotta be better.
We kicked 7 goals in the 3rd qtr, brilliance+hard work.
Almost handed the game back to the Pussies with far too many unforced errors and poor choices.
Need to focus a lot more.
DMack brain fade to pick out Hawkins.
He's a decent, hard-worker but FFS Dan...

They look at the stats at the end of the day and forget about the 1% ers. Long uses his speed to close down space and he gets a tackle just in time or a spoil just in time to stop opposition players retaining possession. The Fireman wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:47pm Love seeing the hug between long and Hill after singing the song. Same with Sincs and same with Marcus Windhager…how the hell did this kid get past the first round of the draft?

He did something to redeem himself when he attacked the footy and put his head over it. DMac won the free kick and we settled with just minutes to go when they were coming at us hard.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:52pm

I don’t understand your comments? Taking paddy out of the ruck is arguably what won us the game. Are you suggesting we shouldn’t have done that and hence lost the game or?The Fireman wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 8:13pmOkay so if you were coach you would play him where. Absolutely insipid performance in the first half and taking him out of the ruck in the third is what got us back into the game. The Fireman wrote: ↑Sat 14 May 2022 7:40pm Let’s go back through the thread and look at the posters who bagged the s*** out of our players and wanted to see some of our champions dropped.
As I said gee we have some s*** supporters on here
