One side well drilled, great structures, well coached vs other side with a coach probably with 6 games before retirement.

Not at the injury, at the fact he was having a shocker.

In the footage the showed it didn’t even look like he got touched in the head?
Hopefully not another McCartin situation on our hands.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
Battle is s*** today.
14 shots to 8. We're lucky they are kicking badly 6.8. Hopefully our famed second half fitness will come to the fore.
The coverage didn't say what happened to Higgins.
I hope Steele's injury isn't too bad. I thought he was the man of steele.

Need a big second half because the first was ordinary . Unless we change our output we can't win just not up to it ATM lets hope they dig deep & find something

if Long is playing as defensive forward he should be dragged. No accountability, Duncan runs off him too easily.

I get the feeling our game styles are a week apart. Why we are guarding space allowing Geelong the 45? Especially the corridor???

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
Have we ever heard of having a forward line.
We are so easy to defend against because our forwards are never there for our players to kick to as they stream from the half back line.
I don't know what the game plan is but it clearly does not work against any reasonable team.

Geelong aren't even that good.
Our s*** disposal and poor choices are making them look like a top 2 team

It's obvious that the dislocated his shoulder, so that means we are down to 21.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
Jones and Gresham trying to be heroes only to be turnover merchant, time for Connolly, Owens and Highmore to be given a run. Did our best ball user in NWM really need a rest for such an important game
