I think this is a reason that St Kilda needs to return to the Junction Oval. We were a hare's breath away from it in '13-'14 befor McQuire and his mates intervened.
Even if we stay at Moorabbin, we still have some sort of chance at being competitive, although we will always be a weaker business. Thus, we will have to sacrifice home games for China, Cairns and New Zealand.

We can still snatch a flag at Moorabbin. But I think the 5-1 scorecard flattered us.

At this point, I do not consider beating Essendon or Bulldogs stamps our credentials as a 2022 contender and of the 2 teams that we have played who did play in last years finals we beat GWS (7th) and lost by a point to Port (2nd)

Give it a rest - last years 8 has no bearing on this year - look at the Eagles - they were 9th last year - missed the 8 by 1 game and %
