Simply, because you don't need to be a Member to have feelings for your Club.

Let it go Trev - we are all hurting - Members or Non Members. I live in Jamieson - I'm not becoming a Member anytime soon, but I still love St.Kilda.

But it hurts - Oh so Much Pain.

Woeful!!! This is why I haven’t renewed my membership since 2018.

Enjoy getting flogged be the Dees next week.
In that case, you have no reason to complain.

Perhaps you can find a new hobby?

Any other team would have beaten them. But for whatever reason, we exist to be beaten by Port.

And yet if we have more members, this game is played at Docklands, and we almost certainly win. You are part of the problem.
There it is.

I must chuckle at the overreaction sometimes after a loss
No, we are not. Any other team would have beaten Port.

We exist to play Port back into form. We are just a s**ty football club.
We’re 5-2 you’re a shitty fan

The instigator of this thread admits "this is why I haven't renewed my membership since 2018". You're a disgrace, why are you coming on here venting your spleen?
Because I keep hoping the Saints will prove me wrong, despite the fact it will likely never happen.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

To buy in or not to buy in.
That is the question.
Whether it is nobler to accept defeats as a normal part of a season or to call for wholesale sackings of coaches and players. Gnashing of teeth, optional.

An unfortunate truth: you cannot win them all.

I feel everyone's frustration & yeah it was another lost opportunity but hey we are in better shape than this time last year & we only missed the 8 by 1 game so I'm looking on the bright side we beat Melbourne next week & we are back on track

I am all for losing but this game was lost before we ran out on the ground. And will be next year too if we do it again. We need to stop this bulls*** and handing away victories to Port and other unpolished garbage by playing away.

It's the nature of the loss that bites so hard. Losing by a point kicking 4.18. 😠😠 Should have won and won comfortably. Just infuriating that we still have a problem with goal kicking. 14.35 in the last two weeks.

Coincidentally at the same venue last year where we got torn a new one by the umps and lost a major percentage booster.

Yeah it's a conundrum do we give up the financial gain for the win/loss possibility. Obviously if we win in Cairns it's a win win & if we lose & it's hardly a win. What are we trying to get out of this venture more memberships ,greater financial return or just create a bigger supporter base I really don't know . As a spectacle the AFL could not wish for a worse outcome to try & promote AFL in FNQ ,so who makes the call to can it us or the AFL do we even have a say ?
