Re: Saints vs Port. Game thread
We sell the game to get some money - we lose this game - have no chance next week due to fatigue - even if we win against Geelong we go from 5-1 to 6-3.
Our Northern brothers and sisters get to watch a game live - but what a fantastic game to watch
We look like s*** on National TV [please see my previous post about having Ticker]
Membership stalls - current members are pissed - doubt creeps in
Was the sale of a home game worth it?

You are not going to win too many games kicking 1 goal 15 behinds in a half. Not watched too many more frustrating games in my life. I reckon if I live for another 100years I’d struggle to find another. Nothing really worked for us in front of goal tonight. Ahhhhh! One we could have won comfortably which burns most.

Agree this selling of a home game is an absolute disgrace and has to stop.Sainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sat 30 Apr 2022 11:08pm We sell the game to get some money - we lose this game - have no chance next week due to fatigue - even if we win against Geelong we go from 5-1 to 6-3.

I hope we never play a "home" game there again! Not to mention the complete lack of crowd support!
We didn’t win due to pathetic conversion.
Higgins and King again the culprits.

And some have a go at the women's game for not scoring much. That was f****** pathetic St Kilda. Hang your heads in shame.

Any one of those points go through as a goal and we win, harsh to criticise Ratten , he can't kick it for them.
4 shots in last 5mins all of which gettable and Higgins poster....on a dry track we would have thrashed them.
Huge game next week.
Any injuries?

Re: Saints vs Port. Game thread
Gray just plays in front at every chance- that's how a small forward gets the ball. Our smalls waited for a loose ball and were no good under close checking.

Re: Saints vs Port. Game thread
Good thing we have an easy game next week. Seriously though, the decision to play Campbell was a mistake. Nothing he did gave our onballers any advantage. How many times have we seen this type of performance in Queensland? It's like it's a set script that we must follow every time. It is fast becoming a sick joke on us supporters.

Membrey just doesn’t trouble scoreboard
Butler doesnt trouble scoreboard
No wonder we look 1 dimensional so often
If King or Higgins don’t kick a bag or straight

Robbie Gray isn't a pure small forward ... he's
the equivalent of Gresham ... a midfielder/forward accumulator/playmaker.

Really hoping for a dry MCG next week. Tonight hasn’t inspired any confidence in our ability to handle wet conditions.

How about Dougal - once a week he does it….**** around with ball in backline instead of simply playing the line if there are no options - brain dead seriously dumb
