visiting the Cairns Saints footy club, talking to kids n parents.
Paton, sitting down next to Gears, is wearing a nice big black moon-boot on his left foot.
I don't know why he would wear that.
Is it because of the flight, he needs some support for it?

Could be a gum boot, city symbol of Tully. Has been quite wet and easy to lose one.
