He played in round 5 so " the prediction" was pure conjecture .

All the leagues are afl affiliated. Makes no difference. If he was banned he couldn't play in Timbuktu.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
He is right
It’s only seniors
I am just glad Zak plays next week.
Bottom line is, trust between AFL the clubs and supporters in terms of what happens behind the scenes is low, they lie to us all the time. Regardless it will be nice to see Zak playing again next week. I am sure he will be ready and more than keen.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
Zak tested positive for covid earlier in the week. Having to isolate would get in the way of his preparations. I’m guessing his return is more likely to be round 8.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
As far as I know Zak did not test positive. He was only a close contact!!!Sainternist wrote: ↑Sat 23 Apr 2022 11:35am Zak tested positive for covid earlier in the week. Having to isolate would get in the way of his preparations. I’m guessing his return is more likely to be round 8.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
Not true re covid and Zac. According to Ratts Zac's wife contracted covid and passed it onto Zac. Gawd there 's some bulls*** posted on this forum which some are all to ready to accept as fact.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
Zac would need to at least play one game at Sandy next weekend for conditioning due to this setback.
If he can return for the game against Melbourne (Round 8) that would be a big plus.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
As I reported elsewhere, I heard Ratten at the Captain's Run (I attended training) last Thursday that Zak had rested positive.SunnyErnie wrote: ↑Sat 23 Apr 2022 11:40amAs far as I know Zak did not test positive. See a video of Ratten on this at
https://www.zerohanger.com/ratten-zak-j ... 19-118985/
Ratts also said (not in the video) that his symptoms at that time were mild and that Jones had trained privately the day prior.

Re: Zak, where art thou?
Didn't people say here that Zac was lacking conditioning? Lost muscle? Was panting at training? - just a few weeks back? After his enforced layoff, lack of match fitness, and now a COVID protocol thing, would it be wise to assume he is ready-to-rip, against bloody Melbourne, for heaven's lovely sake?
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
