Impressive win by the boys with the rucks out. Also keeping Toby Greene to a low impact was very well done by our backline. Not a sexy win, but definitely good for the confidence. Is Heath a chance or will it be Paddy and Campbell?
I'd guess Paddy & Campbell against Port, a hard team need to be pounded & a the foot needs to stay on their throat.
Marshall sounded pretty confident he’ll play next week
All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.
If Hayes was signed only for this year, the club needs to offer him another for next year asap, to reward his attitude and his workrate, and potential.
It will give him certainty going forward and take a big weight off his shoulders.

So they have confirmed an ACL already for Hayes? That's soured the night. Was really hoping otherwise.
Apparently the club medicos called it almost immediately
Obviously no scan yet but my understanding is you can feel it if u know what you’re doing so they’re obviously confident
Yes you're correct with what you say. I was wishfully thinking that it was not that clear and the scans were needed.
There's a lot of upside to Hayes and he had a lot to offer in terms of team structure this season.
It’s ok to be critical when they don’t turn up but credit where it’s due that was a guts win
Fri night against a side who had their backs to the wall (they simply play as a team of individuals GWS) the game largely not played in our style and we lose both rucks AND find a way to grind it out. Good sides win when they don’t play their best thsts a good sign
As Roo said - the test will come against Dees/Cats but we should fear no one , take the game on as this side has done all that’s been asked of it.

He did for sure, I'd be tempted to give him a rest with Paddy back, two consecutive corkies in the same spot can't be good. A rest might be the right move? I'm sure those in the know will choose wisely.

Hill turned that game
4 effective disposals in the second half.
Personally I expect more, but then again I might just be biased…
Hill is one of the key reasons why we are good, this year and recently in general..
Low stats this and last week..matters not..
Cuts through lines like a knife..
Can't speak for next week..up to now..Fantastic.
I'd rest Marshall.
Flying to Cairns with a corky?
Plane trip not good for a tall man with corky, sitting for a few hours, unless he wears compression stockings like soccer players do on a plane.
Last year he played through injury and it got worse.
Give him time to rehab.
Can't afford to lose him
