We're getting beaten out of the middle.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Scrappy first quarter IMO, a couple of great passages of play but also so many mistakes. How many times did they try to play on straight into traffic??

Our first quarters this season have been near identical this season. Good effort and poor execution.

A few players need to lift - Virtually haven't touched it
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Hitting up King on a lead would be nice. All quarter on top of his head.

Hayes off, Lienert getting ready.
Crouch has made some poor choices, playing on when he wasn't clear, etc

Higgo being overly nervous.
Geez i hope he can settle.
Has he played this game in his head on the plane trip?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 6 2022
Did anyone notice Tom Green opposed to Windhager at stoppage - he just pushed him aside and won the footy
Surely you wouldn’t set up at d50 stoppage with an 18yo third gamer opposed to their number one target who is 192cm 90kg
That was poor

Umps have missed more than they've got. Agreed with everything you said B.M. bar the umps comment.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 6 2022
We’re clearly the better team but it looks slippery and we’re sloppy.
Backline has gifted them the majority of the goals they’ve kicked. Howard makes a lot of bad choices and his mistakes are costly. Seems to have bad judgement when it comes to whether to go into the contest, punch/spoil etc. I don’t love seeing him take kick ins either
On the other side of the ground, Higgins needs to figure out how to calm down… he’s brilliant until he needs to go from instinct to thinking and then he just gets caught up in the emotion.
Looks overawed and under pressure now that he’s missed a few
Crouch looks good and Gresh is dangerous
Hayes was looking dangerous but looks to be subbed out with a knee. Hope it’s not serious but it looked like something tore
Hill looks decent, Membrey lively, Steele present
Would like to see Ross do a bit more and I don’t think NWM has had a touch yet

.
Yes I saw that.
Ben Paton is just too slow to get rid of the ball.
