Keep a healthy list and do we dare to believe? I haven't seen such dominance by St Kilda since 2009-2010

Bring it every week and we’ll be 6-1. Took care of business like a good footy side this afternoon.

4-1 now.
Next up GWS Giants who got walloped by Melbourne tonight. It's in Canberra but we've beaten them interstate before.

Best time to meet a team -- after they've come off a narrow win with a dubious free kick in front of goal in the last minute.
Worst time to meet a team -- after they've come off a humilaiting drubbing away from home.

Re: Round 7 - 6 wins 1 loss?
A good time to meet a team can be after they have thrashed a side easily by 100 points. Large wins can be misleading and can create a false sense of confidence. That’s why I think we had the perfect win today. A hard fought win by a good margin but not an easy thrashing.
We play Port the week after so we’ll probably have the same problem. They will just have to overcome these sides. There are no easy games.

Keeping a lid on it…
We were 4 and 1 after five rounds……..
……in Richo’s final year.
We won four on the trot….in 2017.
Sod that…

True but I think we’re a much better team now with different personnel.

Boy has three years made a difference!
We went 4-1 in ‘19 after beating Melbourne by 40 at the G.
Just three seasons ago.
Steele and Members among our best, but also,
Geary
Kent
Acres
Newnes
Billings (who kicked a beauty)
Seeing Melbourne now!

5 wins - 1 loss now.
Next up Port in Cairns. Port aren't travelling well at all so hopefully we can get the job done interstate again.

Hope they get a win this week and it does not 'inspire' them and they rest on their laurels - however the new found 'team first' mentality that we have been lacking at St Kilda for the MANY years I have supported them seems to have kicked inJacks Back wrote: ↑Sat 23 Apr 2022 12:20am 5 wins - 1 loss now.

Yea agree I hope port snag a win this week…they really should. The Adelaide pressure cooker drops off a little and we go and smash them in cairns
If they do lose this week, doesn’t matter, we still smash em in cairns!

Bloody hell - 2 points off my prediction of 6-1 at round 7
If anyone said at the start of the season we would be 5-2 and 4th on the ladder you would have said they were dreaming.
But now the hard stuff starts and I have no further predictions at this stage.

Re: Round 7 - 6 wins 1 loss?
Win 3 of the next 4 we are 8-3, any team in the League would be happy with that, apart from Melbourne.
