The week after - Giants
AFL Love Children - No F@rking Wonder - Puppet Medical Reports Outcome Michael Christian - playing games again
Where do we send funds to the free Paddy campaign
PS - If they do not appeal I will be filthy - 2 weeks for an early plea - 2 weeks to appeal it - No Brainer

Re: Michael Christian
Take it to the tribunal
High impact - he wasn’t moving
High contact - not even sure he got him in the head?
I met him at a VAFA conference - he’s a wanker

I have heard similar about Chrisso. Contact has met him multiple times as well.

Re: Michael Christian
So why wasn't the Richmond player who tackled Higgins causing him to be concussed suspended?
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Michael Christian
What a flat out c#nt of a decision. That makes no logical sense those gradings.
Sheesh - by comparison - to think the bloke that shattered Hunter Clark’s jaw missed precisely zero games.
Christian didn’t even bother to use lube this time …

“and was crashed into late”

AFL Website
So Ryder has run thru the Hawthorn player?
Except Ryder was motionless when the collision occurred
Look at the photograph on the AFL Website and where Ryder’s feet were
Ryder was standing upright
Appeal
And show the AFL up for what it is - and call to account the former Collingwood player

Re: Michael Christian
Yes, I think we have to appeal.
The league thinks they’ll get away with using us as a test case for their concussion agenda because “it’s only St Kilda”.
Key questions I’d be asking them at appeal (just so the entire game knows where the rules are at) are:
Is it permissible for a player to stand his ground; and, Is it permissible for a stationary player to brace for impact once a collision is inevitable?
Just so the rules of the game are now clear for all concerned.

Re: Michael Christian
Day actually continued play after contact
Believe he was subbed out at 1|2 time
Concussion could have occurred in the time
After Ryder contact
Even so surely we will contest high impact

Is it Okay for a coach to send a player out and run into a Cripps or Fyfe and the chief medico to declare concussion - thereby hampering an opposition team the next week due to suspension of said Cripps / Fyfe??
Is it Required for Paddy to have to guess the direction of the player running towards him?
Can a player duck his head and draw a high tackle but then claim concussion and the tackler thereby lose a Brownlow?
What happens if someone gets suspended for this and wins but is ineligible for the Brownlow?
Will there be music for the synchronized dancing next year - but always with a foot between each player?

Re: Michael Christian
Absolute joke!
Clark gets his jaw broken, opponent plays the next week.
Hailed as a win for keeping the bump in football.
Ryder stands his ground and gets two weeks.
Club needs to appeal this.

Re: Michael Christian
Contact was intentional
It was careless
It was high.
It caused a concussion.
Paddy ran at him and stopped when old mate came at him, eithervway, he was late, then paddy turned his body, tucked his elbow and wore the impact.
The concussion is the reason it was severe impact. It is what it is.
