Training 7/4
Went to training this morning.
The Williams F1 team were there and having some fun with the players.
Training a good lively session with the non participants being:
Geary, Clark and Higgins running and having kids to kick.
Haneberry not sighted and Biling apparently working inside.
Coffield watching from the boundary but does not have th3 knee bandaged now.
Zac Jones in full training but looks like he has some catch up on fitness needed.
Players all look vey fit this year and it is a noticeable difference from last year.
Wilkie came off for some attention but returned to the track.
Ro appeared to leave before the end but looked ok.
All in all a good session.

Re: Training 7/4
Well I am pleased as the concept of having kids to kick, just seemed like it was screaming for a Caro article.

Re: Training 7/4
Is there a way to donate kids? Mine are particularly feral at the moment and a good kicking could do them good.

Full training? As in exactly what the main players were also doing?longtimesaint wrote: ↑Thu 07 Apr 2022 12:32pm

If so great news. As I think earlier reports just had him doing light training off by himself?

He may not have done everything the group did as he looked a little gassed..

They said on BF that Hayes was training in a white jumper today - if that means anything.

I didn’t see Jones at all, but I got bored after about 30 minutes and left. I overheard Lethers talking to someone and he was explaining how driven he was to get a premiership and how it would mean so much to so many. One thing that stood out to me is that Sinclair has the cheat codes and is playing a different game

Never did I think for one moment in 1966 that 56 years later we had still not won another one.

Re: Training 7/4
There is a concern over Marshall and Paton.
Paton got crunched by Kyle after receiving a hospital hand pass from Allison.
Marshall appears to have an upper leg issue.
Don’t read too much into Hayes wearing a white jumper, as they’ve been having the definate 18 in black and the rest in white…Mason Wood also in white.
Connelly again impressed, as did Windhager and Owens.
Battle super impressive, confidence is right up.
The vibe is brilliant amongst the group, obviously buoyed by the Richmond win.
Great to see Zac Jones out there!

Cheat codes are just what you can use when playing video games to upgrade your skills to higher levels so you can dominate. Sinclair was doing everything perfectly and it all looked so easy for him

Re: Training 7/4
Cheat codes - you know the ones you enter at the start of the game that gives you invincibility/walk through walls/maximum damage etc
Reference is that Sinc's was playing in a league of his own if you like

Re: Training 7/4
Crikey I hope thats not the case? The last thing we need is more players out, if Paton was concussed thats 2 games he will miss. Marshall is so important that would be ordinary...

Re: Training 7/4
Well that just sux. So Paddy and Hayes to ruck with King if needed but Paton is a loss. I am not sure of the rules but we named our squad already and that doesn't have Sharman in it so can he still play. Out of interest if the injuries happened f=today and the team was named afterwards then i would think they would be right to go

Ben McEvoy is out of the Hawks.
What other rucks do they have?
They pushed the Blues really hard.
Our guys can't relax after that great win, need to back it up.

Re: Training 7/4
Not necessarily. Our team is basically a squad atm. We will trim the squad to a team tonight plus emergencies, but we can actually make changes right up to game time if we so choose.DJ Higgins wrote: ↑Thu 07 Apr 2022 11:45pmOut of interest if the injuries happened f=today and the team was named afterwards then i would think they would be right to go

Re: Training 7/4
I still remember my old man saying to me as we walked into the MCG to play the Crows in the 1997 Grand Final, that he never dreamed that he would've had to have waited over 25 years to see us in another Grannie after losing the 1971 one.saynta wrote: ↑Thu 07 Apr 2022 4:04pmWould mean a f****** lot to me as I could then die was a happy smile on my face.Goose is king wrote: ↑Thu 07 Apr 2022 3:51pm I didn’t see Jones at all, but I got bored after about 30 minutes and left.
