I do rate loyalty, durability and a very good B+ player. The problem is that when we next challenge Membrey will be retired so why not cash him in if the price is in our favour?

Membrey could play until he is 32/33, he is not a bash and crash player and has shown that he is resilient.
Does that mean you do not expect us to be challenging for 5 or 6 years?
If so by that logic should we also not be shopping Steele as he is only about 6 months younger than Membrey and will also likely be retired or close to?

I would not be trading Steele!!! Membrey on the other hand I would consider if we could snag a pick better than 25. Sharman would take his spot and with pick 25 we can put to good use.

I wouldn’t trade him for a pick. Too hit and miss and often followed by wailing and regret.
I would though consider trading him as part of a deal to bring in a top class mid.
It’s all moot though IMO.
Membrey is heart and soul loyalty and I’d be shocked if he was moved on.
