Well, when you’re able to secure a seriously good midfielder like Pat Lipinski for a paltry pick 43 and we’re still paddling around in the shallow end with Seb Ross .. umm yeah - they have.

Add Nick Daicos (basically for free) who had a blinder on debut yet, our first pick weighs 60kgs wringing wet and whom spent the night on the medical sub bench not having a blinder.

Oh yeah - their entire talk defence minus Darcy Moore was missing tonight.

They jumped us at the start & we played catch up footy but that's what happens when your not totally switched on from the first bounce took us at least 10 minutes to get some awareness to how the game was going . Poor coaching poor awareness from the team as a whole IMO & we chased tail most of the night gave our self a chance & then folded like wet cardboard when the game was in the balance & this is against a team that is expected to finish in the bottom 6 or 7 god help us when we play a team that actually is genuine threat . Typical St.Kilda give you false hope just when you think we have a chance of winning . I was a Ratten supporter but team selection & game plan has left me pretty flat . Please dont play Kent next week

They don’t have to play their bigger names in practice games and can play around with game styles as they don’t have to drag in memberships as other middle range clubs do , then come first round they come back and turn it on . We on the other hand show all to build our hopes up buy our memberships then consign us to another year of hard drinking
