At one stage in that first half it looked like our players thought Jeremy Howe played for the red white & black.

midfield is killing us. Jeremy Howe and Moore who are arguably the best intercepting markers in the comp and yet somehow our system couldn't isolate those two and deliver the ball to the 3rd option.

Re: Match Thread Rd 1 vs the Filth
I’ve seen some good in our performance so far.
But we’re not cutting it at the centre bounces and we’re not converting enough of our gettable shots on goal.
We could still pull off a win, but we’ll need to kick a lot of goals because the Pies look set to kick quite a few more.
Hill has been putrid so far. If he could lift, then we might be more dangerous.

9 players have not laid a tackle. Pretty much the entire backline has not laid a tackle. Howard, Paton, Hill, Webster, Battle & Sinclair - 0 tackles.
I'm surprised Collingwood have been so inaccurate.

The biggest issue here is passion. Do they care ? Best player at the moment is first gamer Hayes is who they keep calling Marshall. We are being outclassed by Collingwood ? Something is wrong. They need a spray at half time. We can't blame unps, we're second to the ball. Ratten has 2 quarters to fix it.

Maybe clarko is missing coaching already? Worth asking the question.

Game is not over but will need a change of tack because what we are doing is not gunna win us this game. Coach needs to make the changes to get us back in the game IMO

That was such a disgraceful effort from Sinclair
Had the opportunity to attack the ball and man and instead waited for a team mate to do it and gave up a goal
Absolute stinker from someone that we expect better from

Re: Match Thread Rd 1 vs the Filth
Completely outrun. Lack of speed around the ball. We look constipated and reactionary. Collingwood setting up really well behind the ball. Thank goodness for Marshall's heroic efforts. Byrnes. Owens, Gresham non existent. We're playing with 3 midfielders

Only thing left to hope for is that this team does something resembling giving a yelp.
Haven’t taken the game on all night and too many players not wanting to attack the contest
Fed up
