I liked the aggression, they should go after Nick Daicos more. They went into their shell a bit after the argy bargy. I think they should play on the edge, they look better.

Re: Match Thread Rd 1 vs the Filth
Disappointing to miss those last 2 shots on goal from Gresh and Membrey
We clawed back momentum a bit and needed to put pressure on the scoreboard.
Looked hopeless early…
Really pure pressure, poor zoning and seemingly gave Collingwood time and space to play their own way.
We got a bit lucky with the free to Hayes (which was there) and the gimme to Kent but… when we had actual opportunity to capitalise, we missed it.
Can’t say that I’ve really noticed anyone stand out for us and lead the way other than Wilkie.
We would do a lot better if we had some leadership come from the middle… a ton of ball winners apparently but I feel like we’re losing most contests and have no runners or slick movement.
Membrey pbly the other that has start ok

Horrible kick inside 50 from Steele under little pressure

Re: Match Thread Rd 1 vs the Filth
Regardless of the final result, I have seen enough against an average team to suggest that it’s going to be a very long season.

We are being killed around the packs. Why isn’t Gresham in there? We have Steele and who else?

Re: Match Thread Rd 1 vs the Filth
Marshall must take all centre bounces with no Ryder, not as bad a loss. Hayes cannot match Grundy.
