Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
Yeah he is only a depth player who is unfortunately required this week. There are 4 points up for grabs and I’m comfortable with Kent ahead of Long or NWM
Edit, didn’t realise Sharman wasn’t selected, now I’m in meltdown

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
That won’t be a consideration for the forumites who have Kent as their #1 whipping boy. Or, the accusation that he’s Ratt’s love child.

According to our captain, Patten is the coach's pet.

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
In this context sure but I think Coops played better games where it counted last season… and it’s fair to say that’s he’s had plenty more in the way of opportunities

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
I don't disagree, but you don't pick the round 1 side on last years form. No doubt that someone like Kent would be under pressure to perform straight out of the blocks but gets first crack.

You're generous Loris. Hope he kills it. I'm one who would have been happy to see him delisted

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
true but Sharman plays well on the day based on last year. Kent is so hit and miss. But with two debutants maybe they wanted more experience out there?

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
I think a few players will need to put in a big performance tomorrow night to justify their selection, but it's the first game of the year which we should win, but if it's a blowout loss, then the eyes will turn to Ratts.

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
Yes all possibles.
Kent is basically replacing Billings. Billings was mooted to be played HFF this year.
Wood has Sharman's spot.
Hayes has replaced Ryder.

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
I would say the opposite, what they did in the seniors the end of last year holds more weight than a few practice games IMO, at least to get first crack.

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
To be honest Kent on exposed pre season form deserves first crack. Disappointed Sharman has not done enough with his first pre season with the Club.
I'll reserve any meltdown for the actual efforts during the game.

The real stuff is where it counts, and that's where he did good things last season. Practice match form is a bit hit and miss.chook23 wrote: ↑Thu 17 Mar 2022 7:11pm2nd year blues for SharmanBanger9798 wrote: ↑Thu 17 Mar 2022 6:40pm Kent ahead of Sharman?

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
Kent+Ross geezus...
They're named in our side but if there was any honesty in Champion Data, their disposals would be counted in thr Filth's column.
They'll be good for at least a dozen turnovers, just quietly.
I predict Kent will get under 15 disposals, most will go to the Filth or nowhere near a team-mate

Re: Prepare for meltdown!!!!
Hayes displaced Sharman, not Kent. Kent is covering Billings, a 20+ possession high half forward.
Kent gets shots on goal, creates 8 of his 12 average possessions uncontested, has pace and kicked 5.6 in his last 7 games last year. He has kicked 90.63 in 98 games and has busted a gut all summer.
I think this is why he has been picked. He is ready.
