9th of March

The deadline approaches. Guess we will know soon if the club is going to sign Jarrod Lienert or not.

He would be a certainty if his first name was Jack

I reckon they will. He covers Coffield

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

JL is a big unit.

Not as big as Jake Carslisle, but has other attributes.

Welcome, officially.

We have recruited worse.

I hope Jarrod has a good season at the Saints and stays injury free.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I'm pretty happy with our 'top up' recruits (except Hannaberry). Reckon depth will be crucial this season.

Such a pity that our 'home grown' early draft picks, Billings, Hunter Clark and Coffield are injured at a time they are due to blossom.

I like his highlights package ....he is big and keen and seems pretty coordinated. Can see him adding some much needed height to our backline, and at 27 he is in his prime re maturity and experience. Good signing for mine. Nothing to lose really.

From the forums, many PA fans thought he was highly underrated and underutilized.

Hope they are right and we can get 5 years out of him !

Another player made his debut for the Saints aged 27…the sublime, exquisitely skilled John McIntosh.

He was 26 and I am punching myself in the face for being so pedantic.

The general consensus among Port fans seems to be that he was unlucky to get delisted, but the likes of Aliir Aliir kept him out of the team.

Looks like he is decent kick of the ball.
