It was a good goal too. Big bomb from 55-60 out and it sailed through. The give was from Ben Long.
10 or more players changed teams after half time, putting on opposite jumpers and white shorts ( except for Zac and Gresh who forgot to bring white shorts).
The commentators do a great job overall ...but took a while to catch on that there were more than they originally thought who changed over at half time
They also can't count and were'nt scoring properly. Ben Long kicked a goal for the black team and then a goal in the second half for the white team. They came out with the line; "there's Long's first goal of the day"
I think King has 2 so far up to 3/4 time and Cooper Sharman has also kicked 2 which is bloody good considering he's spent most of the day down back or filling in as a ruckman
I'm watching the stream. I like some of the young draftees work. Like Jimmy Webster and Cal Wilkie and Dougs and Battle. No fuss and they don't try and do fancy millianaire crap like some of the mids and forwards ...that I won't name.
Naaaahhhh... stuff it!! Gresh, Higgins and Kent need to just do the basics and stop wasting opportunities
Good to see Zac Jones busy and setting good standards of intencity for the myriad of potential young mids. Sinclair also continuing his good form.
Edit again...Darren came good and corrected the other blokes errors

Re: Intraclub game this afternoon
Really liked Leinart, low accurate quick long kicking style...think the opposite of Highmore and Bytel.
Kicked a couple of I50s that came like a bullet.
Sign him up I say.
Overall players looked in very good nick, fitter than last year.
Mitch Owens and Windhager are terrific pick ups, both have good offensive and defensive instincts.
Jones looks fantastic and very happy in the thick of it.
Kent is an enigma, get to the right areas and just wastes his opportunities.
Happy with Battle at CHB, rarely outpointed.
Heath looks a year away from being a very good young ruckman. Maybe half a year.

Oh and Cooper Sharman...if I had a duffle jacket (and was 40 years younger) I'd be sticking his number on it.
Don't worry about his training form, he plays when he plays!

Re: Intraclub game this afternoon
Hayes: looked pretty good. Can take a mark and doesn't mind putting himself in positions wher he's going to get crunched.
Wanganeen Milera: took a while to get into it. Very skinny, so he'll need time, but the vision and foot skills are there.
Owens: not afraid of physical contact. Will be a big unit in a couple of years. Was in the stoppages a lot today and looks like he'll be groomed as an inside mid. He tackles like he means it
Windhager: showed good signs. Gets into good positions and has an AFL read body.
Adams: took a great pack mark in the first quarter. Moves well. The way he moves reminds me of a high profile backman whose name I can't put my finger on. Definitely promising
Allison: looks reasonbly quick. Didn't do anything of note, but didn't look out of place.
Bytel: quite busy, particularly early. Has got great hands in tight situations
Byrnes: picked up where he left off last year. Will be a solid and dependable midfielder.

Re: Intraclub game this afternoon
The usuals take care of themselves, Steele, Marshall & agree that Jones sets a standard, "play as you train" - will not fail you.
Super impressed by Sinclair, he's outstanding in effort, poise & skill.
I liked Hayes simply because he has a presence that players kick / gravitate to, not so much demands it but finds it and players look to him - sign him
Speaking of signing players, not sure how much more Lienert & Naish have to do, both were very good. In the Top 20 players out there - sign both perhaps???
NWM is a beauty, can play & suspect will play early in 2022. The same with Windy & Michito, we've stolen a couple there.
Oscar Adams will be good but will take longer.
Heath is a ripper, has all the skill, the size will come. Will be enjoyable watching him develop.
Cooper only cares about playing matches, if he remains the 3rd banana, we have a good harvest / crop (?)
Nothing particularly noteworthy about playing style, would have preferred more chaos ball to see reactions.
Ben Long played well this arvo, an honesty check for Higgins, Butler & Gresh if they want best 22 spots.
