Most people know you as Stinger and Harry M before but I can't remember what Duds was before this current one, I remember the hilarious time when he was losing his shyite over discussion about Richo and he got banned and then came back as the Dud. Still arguably the biggest wig out I have ever witnessed on this board. I have to be honest though, Stinger is an all time favourite, I used to love the banter between you and P66, especially that ding dong the day P66 outed you as a janitor after years of pretending to be a lawyer, was that when Stinger got permanently banned?
Plugger 66 was a nasty f*** wit who didn't have a brain in his entire body. Got banned for life. Deservedly so too.
I have posted before many times that I was here long before stinger ever posted and I certainly never posted under the nic Harry M but hey, continue on making a fool of yourself. I find it highly amusing.
I have no idea what happened to stinger . As I said before I was on this board or it's prior incarnations long before stinger so I didn't have to come back as anything , ever. Got that AW?
You the the one who told me to F*** off, so who's the nasty one? You are lucky the mods didn't ban you again.
I've been on this board since day one so you ain't fooling me.
Be proud of your SS heritage(s).

A technicality, there was a time when the rules allowed you to come back to the board after being permanently banned if you agreed to change your nic. Your starting date and history was kept and if my memory serves me correctly it might have been around the time of the coup by Simon.
You and P66 were the most interesting posters back in those days and I'd almost go as far saying that period was the peak of membership and engagement. And that my friend is why social media algorithms reward negativity, negativity breeds engagement.
The Dud accessed the same rules to change his nic.

Re: Things that really piss me off.
Years ago a cranky forumite with rather conservative views posted something that I found rather offensive and to needle back I put it in my sig for a few weeks until the mods of the time made me change it. That particular forumite didn’t post for much longer after that.asiu wrote: ↑Mon 14 Feb 2022 8:17pmsaynta wrote: ↑Mon 14 Feb 2022 7:40pmI haven't responded to you for years and after this post I will go back to ignoring you.but what you posted is pure bulls***. Then not too long ago, a forumite under a different name posted about how they switched the signature function off because a forumite they hated used it to have a dig at them years back and carried it on for a while... though I don’t think I was involved in that particular discussion, oddly enough it was someone who has also held a grudge with me for years.
That’s the challenge you see when ppl change nics on the back of bad behaviour... got to keep the time line straight, not reference past identifiable moments and avoid specific mannerisms.
Struth... might be easier just owning your bad behaviour FFS
Many actually just embrace the second chance and are better for it
Or it might just be a coincidence
But yeah the tells are there for the long timers

Re: Things that really piss me off.
I’m going to have a crack at this and say I reckon your confusing Dud with another forumite from a few years back that at least to my recollection had many similar views. I only suspect this because they along with me were amongst the more prominent earlier outspoken critics of Richo.Vortex wrote: ↑Mon 14 Feb 2022 2:22pmWhat was your nic back then?The_Dud wrote: ↑Mon 14 Feb 2022 2:13pm

Regarding never being permanently banned, you’re splitting hairs. You know, I know and anyone who’s been on here for any length of time knows your previous nic was Stinger. Give it up.

As I said in the post he’s trying his best to ignore, I’ve been posting as The_Dud, and only The_Dud, since 2007, a long time before Richo came along. I have another login, The_Dude, which I created to view the forum when I couldn’t access this account (and because the joke was right there )skeptic wrote: ↑Mon 14 Feb 2022 8:53pmI’m going to have a crack at this and say I reckon your confusing Dud with another forumite from a few years back that at least to my recollection had many similar views. He knows what he’s saying is 100% bull dust, there’s no mistake, he’s just desperately trying to divert attention away from his trash-fire of a history on this forum. This tactic explains a lot of what he fills this forum with.
I’d love to see any evidence to the contrary, or who else I’m apparently meant to be, I think it would be a good laugh!
There’s one common denominator in all the issues around here lately, and that denominator has already received multiple Nic bans AND a permanent ban, so I’m not quite sure why they’re actually here at all

It’s time consuming and it takes effort.
I guess she’s blindly supporting the trusted science.
This reminds me of when hardline Christian groups wanted bans on foreign films. The people who called for hysterical censorship actually hadn’t watched the content they wanted banned as it offended their sensibilities. It was an idiotic move as many more people wanted to see the films as a result of the publicity.
There’s also the third person effect. People think the message has more influence on others than it does on them. It has shown to lead to media censorship and corrective action. Censorship never works.

People are emotionally invested in their clot shot now, hence the need to rationalise that the vaccine is safe and effective, block alternative views and new information and the need to blame/scapegoat another to relieve anxiety.
I’m pretty sure this was all predicted by someone on here back in February/March 2020.
I didn’t think it would get this bad.

So you are the guy who called SainterK a liar (did your own research and got it badly wrong), got called out on it by multiple people, had a huge hissy fit and reported me twice for saying you lacked comprehension skills.Vortex wrote: ↑Mon 14 Feb 2022 1:08pmI'm very proud of my past nics, right back to my first one Cairnsman in 2001.
You should be more proud of your history too Dud, what was your Nic before the Dud, someone pointed it out to me recently, it wasn't that long ago, around the time you had a major meltdown over a Richo argument, you lost your s*** and got banned and came back as the Dud.
Still one of the funnier SS moments.
No wonder you are having delusions about the dud.
