Re: My chrissie present too
I was going to buy one but the wife is still shitty about me wasting money on crypto so it's been shelved. I would love to have done it. It's a great opportunity to get a permanent pledge. I was excited a few years ago when the people who donated to Moorabbin got their name up on a temporary board and I found my name amongst a million others.

Re: My chrissie present too
I was daydreaming about this the other day. Imagine picking up a player of Nicks quality every two years over a six year period. We would have the best FF, CHF, and CHB in the league.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

I was speaking to the club last week and they said 70-80% had sold, so if you want one ($1000) you had best get a move on.

Does anyone remember the stairwell of the old social club
You could ' buy a brick ' and the club put a gold plaque with your name / family name on it .
Does anyone know what the club did with those plaques when the old grandstand was demolished ?

I purchased a plaque in memory of my father, a past Saints player. He used to absolutely love Danny.
We watched many games together at Moorabbin when Spud was captain.
Great memories.

I just bought one for my Dad too. I have great memories of watching the footy with him at Moorabbin.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.
