Re: ASHES 21/22
Thanks, SG.
What an utter shambles of a team.
'Fat shaming'???????
So funny.

This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.
And this is also mine:

Re: ASHES 21/22
I think they are making excuses for themselves, including the captain. No filming available in Brisbane ? That is not an excuse for selection and terrible decision making. Those field placing a for Leach etc.
Someone lost control of the bus here and it rolled over a cliff big time.
No wonder those tail Enders were just throwing the bat. They didn’t give a flying …
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: ASHES 21/22
On another point I wouldn't like to see my captain after a thrashing being matey with the opposition and getting moved on by police at 6am.
Joe Root's body language and his entire team's demeanour at times during the series was really embarrassing.
Obviously I'm not thinking that Root should be challenging the Aussies to duels but how about some self reflection?
Nope just straight on to the piss and celebrating with the guys who just demolished you.
If I was English I'd be livid.

What was that about being out until 0600? Didn't see any reports about that.roskilde wrote: ↑Tue 18 Jan 2022 6:34pm On another point I wouldn't like to see my captain after a thrashing being matey with the opposition and getting moved on by police at 6am.

Haha. We should have deported most of the English team for lying on their visa applications.

Re: ASHES 21/22
The Australian team continued celebrations on Monday by drinking at a Hobart pub and singing songs with the Barmy Army, according to social media posts.

Re: ASHES 21/22
Did you have a line ?
Is that why you repeated yourself ?
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: ASHES 21/22
Extracted this from an article on tennis yobbos
"It was probably inevitable. The non-stop nonsense of the raucous and appropriately named “Barmy Army”, originally greeted as “a bit of fun”, is now ruining the pleasure of watching Test cricket. This malaise has now spread to the tennis. Trying to rationalise the appalling behaviour of some so-called “tennis fans” as bringing a new “energy” and “atmosphere” to the game is rubbish. Rob Phillips, North Epping"
