You can expect structure and a gameplan. We have done our women a huge disservice imo. They don't need to be running around like headless chooks hoping for the best.

I am one of those who thought it shameful to put such an inexperienced coach in charge of a senior team but I did hope we might see a bit of flair and innovation, some out of left field decision making - something. Very disappointing on all fronts. They looked to me very much less than the sum of their parts and I put that back on the club for not taking the team seriously.

The over lap phase running and quick handballing from the Tigers can only occur if you have the players capable of acheiving that. Look at the difference in team skills, Dal hasnt got much to work with. He probably spent the entire preseason trying to teach them how to kick etc.

It's so typical of the club to want a team, but go half arsed at recruiting and funding them. Its the old story if you can't do it well, don't bother attempting IMO.

They are missing their three best players. The issue is the AFLW is a comparatively new game so the difference between the best players and the rest is incredibly stark. Thus missing the three best players you have in AFLW would be the equivalent of missing probably the best 7 or 8 from the AFL team. Take the top seven in last year's b&f out of the men's team and they would be barely competitive.

It looks like we were out coached…but sometimes the players throw the new game plan out the window when pressure is applied. It’s not intentional, it just happens. If we played the way we wanted to, then we’re in trouble. If we were pressured into some old habits then there’s hope… if they can learn to execute under pressure. It can take a while.

Yep by a team that have won 4 games in the last 3 years. Its going to be a long season for our AFLW team, they simply dont have the players.

The Bluescum kicked 4 from outside 50 and 2 on the Arc.... so 6 from 50+ ...... that could be a record as well ..... pressure or no pressure
