training times / location?

Post: # 1934803Post spiral3 »

anyone know what days the saints are training at the moment?

also where?
Some social media stuff recently has been from Sandy and elsewhere.

I've got a couple of days off, would love to check out a training session.

any info much appreciated

Jack Peris was asked about his sore knee yesterday and said he should be right for the main session on Friday. But I'm not sure if they are at Moorabbin.

Definitely not Moorabbin. It's a dustbowl, being resurfaced.

thanks kosi, yeah I heard Jack say that, bit of a clue :)
I think they are on the little oval next to main oval but sometimes at Sandy

thanks also BS, yeah saw some footage last night, hard to train on that, although it wouldn't stop Queenstown footballers (though they would die in the heat).

yeah I got along, thanks
must have got there a bit late (~10.10) as they wrapped up about 15min after I got there, unfortunately.
just caught a bit of running work, and the new recruits had finished, so not much to report sadly.
New fitness guy running the show, main highlight was a timed run with some of the younger guys. Byrnes ran strongly and lead the group home. Paton looked pretty stuffed so still building back up from ACL layoff (from memory he usually does well in time trials?)
King looked lean but strong and loped around, toward the rear of the group but made up ground and finished strongly. Highmore the slowest in the running.
Max Heath doing laps on his own, was pretty stuffed but good encouragement from the new recruits. Seems like a fair bit of work to do on his endurance running.
