He looks like he delivers a great ball to our forwards so hopefully long bombs into 50 are a thing of the passed

Speed, evasive skills, and elite kicking. Very much a wingman. It's been a while since we picked up this kind of player in the draft

Re: Welcome to the Saints - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
Has lightning quick hands.
I'm happy with that pick up, once Gibcus was gone, he seems the best player. We really need some X factor.
It's a bit more risky than most of the other good options, but I'm glad they didn't play it safe and went for a player that can turn a match.

Re: Welcome to the Saints - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
Yikes...
Incredibly ballsy pick and I don’t mean that in a bad way.
Pure mid, everything we’ve been crying out for for a few years if he makes the grade.
Has all the tools to be elite and the type of player we don’t have in abundance
Welcome a board

Re: Welcome to the Saints - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
14. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
Best position: Outside midfield/general defence
Height, weight: 188cm, 71kg
Recruited from: Glenelg
Projected draft range: 5-15
Plays like: Shane Edwards
October ranking: 15
Rationale: Spending most of the season in the SANFL Reserves and playing solid football throughout, Wanganeen-Milera has played a consistently exciting brand of footy with his freakish evasive movement with ball in hand and skills a major highlight. His performances for South Australia against Western Australia to finish the season only elevated his draft stocks as SA's best performer.
Strengths:
Agility
Evasion
Creates time and space with ball in hand
Composure with ball in hand
Precision kicking
Decision making
Vision
Impact per possession
One touch at ground level
Performances on the board
Weaknesses:
Lack of size or strength
Limited contested ball winning
Limited to playing on the outside

About time the Saints drafted a gun indigenous recruit with their 1st round pick, a great pedigree, now it's up to the Development Coach to guide him to elite level. Full profile:

Welcome to the Saints.
So, being a great kick is good, but does he get the ball? Is he just an outside reciever? Does he apply pressure on opposition?
Good luck, let's hope he's exploding onto the scene soon..

Really good time to have a talented young indigenous draftee joins the Saints.
I’m sure Lovett-Murray and the brothers will be great mentors and having Ryder, Hill, Gresh, and Long along side at training (and on field in his first 2 years) cannot be understated.
He speaks well. Seems a good kid. Humble not cocky (a bit like Steele when he first joined us). I think he will fit in well
N W-M has been playing against men in the SANFL. That’s an advantage over some of the other young draftees

Re: Welcome to the Saints - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
We have so few players who have genuine evasive skills, so it's finally nice to see us targeting this kind of player. There are no guarantees, of course, with any player. We'll just have to trust the guys who selected King; Byrnes, Connolly, Sharman, and Highmore
