Player Sponsorship 2022 - 2 players

Due to the lack of events in last year’s sponsorship, the club has returned $1762. (There was an option to donate the money to the club and receive a tax deduction and a 50% discount on one player for 2022 but that was too messy.) We were also oversubscribed to the amount of $347 which means we have $2109 in the kitty before anyone puts their hand in their pocket.

I’m suggesting that we go for 2 players this year.

If the price stays at $2350 we would need an additional $2591 for two players.
Given that we raised $2697 last year, this should be a walk in the park.

So if we can raise just over the cost of one player we would sponsor 2 players and receive 2 pairs of invitations to each event.

I don’t want to make 100 shares at $25.91 so we’ll go with $25 shares to make the Maths easier. 104 shares would get us over the line. And if the price changes we just need to sell more shares.

I’m confident that we can raise the money, so if you’re keen to get started you can put money into the account now.

I'm seeing our non posting sponsors on Saturday who are usually good for 5 shares each. One of them just had her nephew drafted by the Bombers, so hopefully she is still interested in the Saints.

The club officially launched the sponsorship program today.
The cost is still $2350 for an emerging player and Ryan Byrnes is still on that list. As is Cooper Sharman.

I've got enough to send off the money for Ryan Byrnes tomorrow and we can pay the other one in instalments.

Of the total of $2591 we need to raise, we have pledges for 55% and payments for 49%. And I still haven't heard from some of our usual heavy hitters.
