The only talent out there IMO that was available and cheap was Narkle from Geelong. Didn’t attract any interest and would have come cheap.
Reckon he was worth a call
Ladhams would have been a good pick up ,reckon he will be a top player.
But whether it would be worth a slide in our first pick is debatable.

Apart from him, not much.

We need another key defender - I liked the idea of Xerri but think we mightn't need him if Ryder can get a good number of games in this year - 2023 maybe 2 x king can chop out for Marshall - Heath you would think with luck is also a possible occasional player by 2023.

But we need another big guy in defence for 2022

I am happy we kept our picks this time around and hopefully we don't trade away next years second round like we usually do. Mitchito Owens and Marcus Windhager will require the picks we currently have and we may not get one of them if they go top 20. I am more interested to see who we draft with out pick 11 (pick 9+2)

Wondering when the de-listings must be finalised by?
Anyone know?

Here https://www.sportingnews.com/au/afl/new ... mf12d4aqjb it says Nov 29 is the final date for a list…I think. But when do we know who will get the flick?

Nothing improves a list as much as keep playing together.

Yes of course we will and again the rucks might be stretched and P.Hunter hopefully can be fitter and play ok if required- but you're right I have re thought my post - and now think - "f#ck we missed Xerri, 2022 is now a complete write off - we are definitely playing for number #1 draft pick in 2023"

An AFL list i have says
List Lodgement 1
tbc (approx. Thursday October 28)
List Lodgement 2 (Final date for primary list delistings)
tbc (approx. Tuesday November 9)
Final List Lodgement
tbc (Mid-December)

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Every club gets them
St Kilda's best 26 missed more games through injury/unavailability than any other club in 2021. Almost five times more than Melbourne.

If we get the same next year, that'll be some luck.

Yep, last year's injury toll was at the sh!te end of the spectrum, certainly not an average injury toll.
