You can't tell me that those f****** maggots didn't see at half time the bad press they were receiving from multipe sources and decided that if they wanted to get out of the ground alive they better start evening up. Dishonest pricks.
Do you really think the umpires are scouring media at half time looking for an assessment of their performance?

Stating the obvious, top sides this year have a couple of very big/strong bullocking mids. Any chance we could turn Joshy Battle into such a player to help Steele. Our other mids seem welter weights in a heavy weight contest. (?)

Be better off getting Constable if that's what we need. He's a natural midfielder. Battle does not need another position he's nearly good at.

Well someone would have told them about those hugh headlines. They came out and gave a straight 5 frees to port. Same in the last quarter.

So in a word...yes.

8 goals to 3 in the first half.

4 goals to 2 in the second half.

Again proving umpiring is mostly irrelevant.
Not really - I had breakfast this morning - and the sun rose (and has done everytime I have had breakfast)
Does that mean if I do not have breakfast the sun wont rise?

Frees do not necessarily equate to scoring goals - but they can.

More importantly -
When Girlong were getting the rub of the green - 11 scoring shots to 15
When Girlong were not getting the rub of the green - 7 scoring shots to 11

Just because they cannot kick accurately does not mean that the Umpire had no influence.
Nor does it mean that with 'fairer' Umpiring (ie calling throws) Port may not have been further ahead

Not sure if they review the stats during the game - but it seems strange that after 1/2 time (in numerous cases) the team down on the free kick count suddenly start getting 'Chopping the Arms' Frees on balls that were clearly also marked.
The_Dud wrote: Sat 28 Aug 2021 10:28am Again proving umpiring is mostly irrelevant.
This is the belief that makes Razer Ray so frustrating - Umpiring should be irrelevant - but Ray and his Cohorts NEED to make themselves relevant

At half-time the umpires go back into their rooms and will undoubtedly confer with the emergency umpires and discuss their performance in the 1st half.

Did you see Luke Podge. Back to where he was when he was drafted. Must like his KFC and fried chips

He's nearly as round as our Joey

And Toby Greene back in trouble again, Toby must have a screw loose, fancy bumping an umpire.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Podge will be able to hire himself out as a sight screen over the cricket season.

Both Sydney teams suck as far as I am concerned.
If the Giants had won against the Bulldogs in 2016 setting up a Sydney vs GWS Grand Final, I wouldn't have bothered watching it.

3 out of 4 this weekend. Failed to get Brissie up. But saw 2 of my most hated teams have their noses rubbed in the mud..great news.

Evidently those druggies are perpetual losers in finals losing 7 straight. Must be competing with the pussiesfor the title of finals chokers.

Great result, Bombers belted by the Bulldogs, they are finished for 2021.

Now to watch Dedildo stuff up the trade period for another year.

Launceston. Terrible place to play finals footy. Wet cold and miserable. Just like the druggies.😁😄😆😇

The doggies kicked the last 8 goals, while the pathetic losera remained goalless after half time

Essendon out! Happy days, glad to see this disgusting sh1t stain of a club gone. Filthy stinking cheats.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

How many weeks will he get?

There are calls for 4-6!
