Re: Now Frawley
Frawley retired at the right time in his career, at the end of 2020.Waltzing St Kilda wrote: ↑Wed 25 Aug 2021 7:42pm No offence to Frawley but an idiotic recruiting decision.
Don't know why he tried to play again, maybe it was the lucre offered that got him.
Another fail for the Saints List people.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Roberton
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Re: Now Frawley
Me too mate. Think Alibakis is on borrowed time too and maybe Ross if anyone is interested.
Doesn't leave us much trade bait. Maybe one or two whose names I am hesitant to mention as I want them to stay on the list.

Reckon we are thin on tall/big backs,so will be interesting come draft /trade period,or maybe the club thinks Highmore clav can do the job along with Howard and Wilke

Hope we're not abandoning the idea of trading...we just seem to be delisting.
Definitely should hang on to Clavarino

Re: Now Frawley
Well, this was on the back of the Nick Hind virtual walk out, same with Dunstan , now possibly Lonie, will we get anything if Ross leaves?
As we've seen with Byrnes and Connolly, even late picks might work out.

Unless we are just dumping salary in a hurry with a major trade or FA deal in mind...maybe Matt Crouch?

Re: Now Frawley
Isn’t Luke Parker 29 next season?
If we are after midfield speed and Skill
Not sure he’s it
He’s similar to Steele and Crouch

Re: Now Frawley
Sam Skinner apparently tearing it up at SANFL level since moving to CHB.
I think there are a couple of others at state level doing ok as well.
Would not be the first KPD to get plucked from state leagues and do well. KPDs seem to develop a little later than others.

Maybe with Lyon looking at going to Blues, we are clearing space to bring in Cerra?therabbitinthehat wrote: ↑Wed 25 Aug 2021 9:18pmLuke Parker is the gossipBanger9798 wrote: ↑Wed 25 Aug 2021 9:02pm Unless we are just dumping salary in a hurry with a major trade or FA deal in mind...maybe Matt Crouch?
What would he cost in picks though?

He’s a gun and can go forward but not speedy
29 in Oct and apparently wants 4x700..
We lose Dunstan and possibly Ross he makes us better
Will turn 34 in a final year but can rotate up forward with Steele resting and gives you 30 a game for next 2 years
So with much of our list in the 25-27 brackets abs King looking ready to tear comp apart plus our first round draft pick still available for us to select a speedy good kicking mid prospect in the draft (with hopefully 2 late NGA mid prospects in the mix) is be worth it?
Would upgrade our midfield for $ not picks but he is 29...
