Eligible this year - does not have a big enough body of work as they will "owe" some other players from previous rounds - so a guy who has played 4 actual games and kicked 10 goals wont get a nomination

Not Eligible next year

LOL - BigCarl - are you under 60 years of age - all us Older Folk know that a Cooper makes Barrels

Well actually - anything that involved a person trained to make wooden casks, barrels, vats, buckets, tubs, troughs and other similar containers from timber staves that were usually heated or steamed to make them pliable.

Journeymen coopers also traditionally made wooden implements, such as rakes and wooden-bladed shovels. In addition to wood, other materials, such as iron, were used in the manufacturing process.

Should get it!!!

Absolutely found a player

Drafted after spending time in the SANFL ressies this year.

Gold Coast Academy player who they overlooked
Played his U18 year at Oakleigh - undrafted

Went back and played with mates in the country

Moved to SA in an attempt to impress and get drafted

Pick 21 in the Mid Season Draft

Either a lucky pick or the recruiter is a genius?!

Him and Highmore
Outstanding
No one would complaining if either were first round selections

Was apart of the GWS academy and he is from Leeton, NSW.

Looks to have a long career ahead of him.

Ah, yeah. Makes sense now. I think I did know that vaguely but I missed the connection. Cheers

People go nuts over a bag of 5 now a days - 4 from a 4 gamer should get the Nom - but as previously said - wears the wrong colours.

I wouldn't be so sure SD, Jason Dunstall couldn't stop raving about Sharman during the call of the game on Foxtel, and also drew praise on radio commentary.

Recruit of the year for the Saints, better than any other mature aged (b. 25/7/00) player recruited by St Kilda in recent years, including Wilkie and Highmore, if not best ever, incredible composure under pressure!

Take a bit to beat Andrew Thompson. He was 24 when recruited.

Perfect example of why people shouldn’t be concerned about not getting kids at 18 or out of customary recruiting paths. If anyone has any involvement in the TAC program it wouldn’t surprise them if they had Sharman playing back pocket then cut him.

Mock draft 2019
58. Hawthorn - Cooper Sharman (VIC)
Height, Weight:192cm/79kg
Profile: Goalkicking forward who doesn't need much of the ball to hit the scoreboard heavily. One of the best readers of the ball in flight in the draft, strong overhead and clean at ground level.
