I wouldn't be so sure SD, Jason Dunstall couldn't stop raving about Sharman during the call of the game on Foxtel, and also drew praise on radio commentary.

Recruit of the year for the Saints, better than any other mature aged (b. 25/7/00) player recruited by St Kilda in recent years, including Wilkie and Highmore, if not best ever, incredible composure under pressure!

Perfect example of why people shouldn’t be concerned about not getting kids at 18 or out of customary recruiting paths. If anyone has any involvement in the TAC program it wouldn’t surprise them if they had Sharman playing back pocket then cut him.
