Too many passengers aboard Flight 2021
I, for one, am relieved this team has finally cashed in its chips for September. This year was one great big false start. This Jekyl-Hyde act is too emotionally taxing to be taken any further.
Having said that, I actually think we have a fairly substantial list of players. We just desperately need to make some alterations and cutting some passengers who have proved to be nothing more ballast is definitely in order.
These players no longer have a future with St.Kilda FC:
Kent - no explanation needed
Dunstan - the guy knows how to get the ball and has decent defensive skills, but his disposal is lousy. He should be allocated to handballing only. Also, I feel like he wants out and after word got out that he’s been courting people from GCS, his attitude reflected this on the field. So, stuff him!
Webster - He made his way back into the team this year courtesy of Ben Paton breaking his leg. He’s like a poor man’s Sam Gilbert. It was frustrating enough having the original Sam Gilbert lol.
Ross - like Dunstan, turns it over far too often. Maddening footballer, really. Thanks for your service, Seb, but we can tell by now that you’ve always wanted to play for Essendon.
Lonie - no explanation needed
Hunter - NEN
McKernan - NEN
Frawley - NEN
Retirees: Carlisle, Hannebery, Geary
Simon Lethlean can take Hannebery’s wages out of his own salary, FFS!!
And a good-bloody-riddance to season 2021 !!

Lethlean's priority now should be to orchestrate Hannebury's retirement.
He won't.

Re: Too many passengers aboard Flight 2021
Remember the preseason game, we beat them (Blues) with a leg in the air. And North? Then great win over GWS round 1. How we have regressed this year - the lack of resilience is so bad.
Speaking of passengers
Lethlean is very quiet, especially about a few of his big decisions that have failed spectacularly. I respect his management ability but wonder if he has any credibility left in regard to judgement of players. He is running at about 50/50 right now (only on the back of some shrewd picks by Gallagher) and that has taken us backwards. He needs to step up and give Ratts much better tools.
Hanneberry by the stats seemed underwhelming again in the 2s. As the Angels sang "Am I ever going to see your face again, no way get f d F off". We need the money.

Lets not build our hope around Hannebery making a ewturn and difference to our side should be put dropped from out list at seasons end.
Lethlean you convinced the club to sign Hannebery now have the balls to make the decision to show him the exit door.
