Excuse excuses excuses.
Can’t blame the umpires today so you move to what’s next on the list.
Get a clue.

We're really undermanned and it's starting to show.
Coffield panicked again and was lucky not to give them another goal in the dying seconds.

Steele needs to go to Kelly in a hard tag for the 2nd half, he is giving them so much drive. The entire side needs to lift their intensity or they will get belted!

Higgins, Marshall, Mckenzie, and Hannebery in next week. No ifs, buts or maybes.
Too many guys out there who we know are depth, and not very good depth at that.
Hopefully Clark can return for the last couple too.

Very lucky to be this close their skill level is so much better than ours . So much space when they go forward & so much cleaner with their hands . We need to hang tough or we will get blown away

To be fair Butler has good form when chasing, two metres behind, straight back, hair flowing, eyes on ball as it hits target...I imagine his heckling is hurtful as well.

Always heart in mouth stuff when Coffield has the ball in the last line of defence - has decent skills, need to play him forward

Yep haven’t noticed a fit healthy Marshall not playing Hunter is basically a clone of him. Higgins our leading goal scorer Kent has him covered.
We are decimated.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Weagles Round 19 2021
Well short of a remarkable come back, I think we can put the idea of finals to bed. The run home will prove to be too tough, even with some players coming back. Teams need get continuity with players to play finals and we simply havent had that.

That a fully fit healthy player isn’t able to play.

The only positive in the last 15 minutes of that second quarter was the siren going just before Jamie Cripps ( not my favourite ex-Saint ) took a mark just in front of goal.
It is starting to look very very ugly. Come on guys, dig in.
Zac Jones is one of the few giving us some go-forward.

We overran them in the first game but can't see it happening today especially with the home crowd behind them

I can't stand Cripps, and from memory, I think Roo hates him too. Always used to end up scrapping with himGeorge27 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Jul 2021 6:50pm The only positive in the last 15 minutes of that second quarter was the siren going just before Jamie Cripps ( not my favourite ex-Saint ) took a mark just in front of goal.

I like Cripps too but the whole young player ditches the club who drafted him and invested time in him because he's homesick still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.George27 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Jul 2021 6:50pm The only positive in the last 15 minutes of that second quarter was the siren going just before Jamie Cripps ( not my favourite ex-Saint ) took a mark just in front of goal.
