Going to be a big ask now without Marshall. Eagles at home are bloody hard to beat at the best of times, don't like our chances in this one :(
We had an extra man on the ground vs the Tigers, but only for a few seconds.

Eagles will have an extra 3 on the ground for the entire game, you know who I mean

Butler has pace to burn now we have Higgins and next season Gresham butler should train to be a mid fielder as we are probably loosing either or all of dunstan, billings, ross next season so will need quick mids.

Butler won't be dropped, he absolutely can't be.

Another compromised season due to COVID season has just added another degree of difficulty to a season that's already left the tracks. Selection options are terribly restricted.
Why shouldn’t he be dropped?
He has been poor or average all year, not just last game
Hill gets tagged and creates play, yes he makes mistakes but he creates
Butler has been down all year and has not had enough good patches to warrant the poor form
Nowhere near the same
He gets a massive free pass from supporters

Steele CHF? Why not? Going to need a physical presence down there with no RoMa and at least he is a usually reliable kick for goal.

Got impression Frawley wont play. Just the spontaneous chuckle from Brett when asked about stopping Kennedy. Hunter firming I reckon. Rest of list above looks likely to me.

In regard to selection have wondered about Butler's continued run, but seems he is quite an influential fellow in the club for some reason - force of personality?

Go Sainters. This might be our battle of Little Bighorn for 2021. Hope WC are the cavalry.

Probably need Hunter in to give Ryder a chop and a chance to win clearance.
Would play Kent before Lonie and Byrnes before Sharman.
Is Connolly injured?

Since the season was de railed by COVID I have given up worrying about footy in any meaningful way now...it's all slap a d tickle from here and any games played will be purely for illusion and the "fabric of society"

Not to be taken seriously.

Really?
Well, that was a brilliant pick-up wasn’t it.

Another back-up that can’t back up.

I was kind of hoping he still had it in him …wishful thinking.
Kennedy will be back, but can have a bad day too, even though he looks like the guy on the Carlton Draft poster.

Can you tell me about Hunter?

All I hear is rather bad, like badder than McKernan bad, which is pretty bad based on people’s opinions on this forum.

Hunter is a 28 year old SANFL ruckman. We need to be realistic about what he can provide. He's certainly better than Ryan Abbott, though.

Paddy Ryder looks a bit banged up at the moment, so Hunter has to play. We'd be killing Paddy by not playing a second ruckman.

Assuming that Frawley and Coffield are not quite ready to go....

Out: Marshall, Mckenzie, Highmore
In: Clavarino, Bytel, Sharman

Definitely need to play Hunter. As stated above, need to take some work off Ryder and may as well take another look at him. He has had another couple of months in the AFL system since he played last.
