Agree with this,so predictable

Coaches and selection committee should be shot.
Game plan is s***, assuming they actually have one. No forward structure.

I don't think the club gets it. We have become a laughing stock.

A total and utter laughing stock. The competition is genuinely mocking us and they've got every right to. Our footy club has become focused on everything except winning. This is the sum total of all those things coming home to roost.

For once, I'm not shocked. I'm not surprised. This was absolutely in line with what I expect and have been warning about for a long time.

This is what St Kilda stands for now.
I agree with this. Honestly, I think the marketing department is more important than the football department at St.Kilda. It's what we care about more, unfortunately.
We members should start withholding back on the automatic membership payments till after drafting period or there should be a vote of no confidence in the ceo and board

Umpires ruined a good contest with incidental BS free kicks. There was like 10 of them in the last 10min and 3 that were actually there.

NO ONE WANTS TO WATCH YOU UMPIRES

They sunk us with that BS free on the goal line that wasn’t there and and just kept paying soft ones one way

I’ll cop a loss any day of the week but the freakin umpires are what turned that last quarter around
That free against Howard was rubbish

The bustling on the line happens several times in every single game.
Hardly ever paid.
It's just normal bustling with fwd trying to mark and defender trying to spoil.
Howard definitely held on too long, he should be smarter than that.

St Kilda is a dumb football side.

We now look worse than the Richo era.
Absolute BS
The free for high was probably there not holding as Richo also said
Umpires **** screwed us but we are rabble and unfit so only have ourselves to blame
Hey you guys are talking about two separate incidents against Howard - one was on the line the other near the boundary 25-30 out.

Right now, under this leadership, this is what St Kilda stands for now.
Lost it all at the Pride game several years ago with the 'Toilet' stance

The biggest issue is Howard panicked in both situations unnecessarily.

The one on the line wouldn't normally be paid 99 times out of 100 (only against St Kilda). The tackling one when he didn't have the ball was stupid.

Howard is not the sharpest tool in the shed though I've always thought.

We lack anyone that is willing to take responsibility to win a game.

Steele is a beast if a player, but he needs to go to another level in games like this.

I'm about to throw in some big names, but I'm talking about their ability to take responsibility, I'm not talking about football ability.

We don't have anyone like a Hayes, Harvey, Burke, Loewe, Riewoldt, Goddard, Lockett etc that can will a team over the line.

Tonight we were listless. It seemed everyone just wanted to hand the responsibility over to the next person.

For the 40+ years I have followed the Saints, this is the only team I have seen without at least 1 elite leader.

And by this team I mean since Roo retired.

7 & 5. Went to bed at half time and will be totally gutted in the morning.
Really feel like telling them to support another team.
Supporting this club is just a lifetime of pain.
It is character building - I feel sorry for putting a St kilda jumper on our dog - now that is Animal Abuse.

Whilst I have said something similar to this in another thread I do think RoMA and Jack Steele are players who can lift a team. With Marshall out there today we would have won in a canter.

I believe Marshall is so important that we would be inside the 8 if he had played all year.

He and Steele can lift a team, but I want to see someone CARRY a team.

Fxxxing disgraceful
Yeah we have multiple injuries, etc. etc. but we were 6 goals up.
One goal, one fxxxing goal in that last quarter would have done it, ONE FXXXING GOAL.

Weak, insipid, no leadership, nothing.
The delusion is over.
It’s time to bottom out, maybe even do a North, cut the dead wood, trade whoever we can,
not King, Clark, etc. - I’m not going through the names, we all know who stays.

If we continue with this delusion, we’re seriously heading for oblivion or Tasmania.

I’ll never jump ship but FXXX I’ve never been this close to the edge & that includes the 80’s !!

We are the biggest sporting challenge in the entire world !!
