Apparently it’s all his workrate...
That’s why he kicked 1.5 against Cats....doesn’t work hard enough...,now that’s comedy ...

I won a long time ago..,soon as I read your post having a bet each way ...
Is Kings workrate still the problem in your world!? Or just maybe we ain’t developing him like we’ve failed to do for many other players before??

Re: Does Kingy Even Like Playing
What did you award yourself?
Anyway...lets’s keep feeling sorry for poor Max. Like I said weeks before this thread even started... the coaches and the club are the main culprits...but seriously... f*** him. He is costing the team and he is a liability at times. He’s had 1 disposal up to half time
He keeps putting his hand up to play in the seniors, so he needs to man up and own it
If he wants match payments then earn your keep and run and present and work harder.

Seriously get off the fence your ass must be sore...
King looks tired and IMO our forward craft development looks utterly shytehouse
Season is over now so 2 things:
1. Give him a rest - not VFL a rest
2. FFS someone ring Loyd I do not give a **** if it upsets Roughead

Re: Does Kingy Even Like Playing
Some people had the opinion that both the King twins were overrated, this view was aired before they were drafted, time will tell but I doubt either will become a superstar

Cant say I know enough about them from Jumior days
I’ve also heard had Max not done a knee no 1 pick was where he was headed
Either way it’s a big call second year in when their numbers are tracking as good as some of the games greats at same stage comparisons.....think I’ll reserve judgment just yet

Re: Does Kingy Even Like Playing
Another disappointing game
Did three good things
Did not make nearly enough contests, did not take one mark on the lead. He definitely does not work hard enough. If he did, he’d find the game a hell of a lot easier,

Re: Does Kingy Even Like Playing
What do we make of his flop that resulted in Battle’s gift 50 meter penalty and goal?
Smart play or soft mindset?

Re: Does Kingy Even Like Playing
I think he'd benefit from a week off and then play in the 2's until he can prove he's willing to make a 2nd and 3rd effort and chase at full pace. Life would have been so easy for him (and Ben) in the under 16's and I think he's carried that mindset through.

Re: Does Kingy Even Like Playing
Yes, smart play and I'd bet Longmire would be livid that his backman was stupid enough to do that. As with Coffield's, the need to make contact well after or not in a contest is brain dead stupid.
