Re: Mid Season Draft
Welcome to the club Max Heath!
I knew the Saints had spoken to him as I have links to the family and was praying he'd get picked up and he did! A really good family from the bayside burbs, Max was a bit disappointed he didn't get drafted at the last national draft and obviously went all out to make sure he didn't get missed this time around and the rest is history!
I'm sure he'll be a terrific pickup

Re: Mid Season Draft
Happy with the two lads selected, its a shame we couldnt find a midfielder and used our 3rd pick. Its hard to understand our list management plan going forward, when we already have Battle & Allison on the list as the medium/tall forwards. Plus will most likely chase Ben King next year, you have to wonder why they went with Sharman?
One thing we can be sure of is whoever at the club covers the SANFL has got a strong voice at the Saints draft table.

Re: Mid Season Draft
It sounds as if we are all in on Ben King according to Stavro on Big Footy. Potentially trading out Battle and Billings to get him and probably a first round pick if we are dealing with Gold Coast who need to save face. Thoughts? Not my preference to be honest. Still need to a do bit of work getting the basics in order first.

Re: Mid Season Draft
Stavro's posts were a hypothetical - not sure there is any truth in it

Re: Mid Season Draft
Would have liked the saints to have used another pick on young Josh Green, Tom's brother
