A pitiful response

Post: # 1905077Post Moods »

We’re looking at a team devoid of confidence. I can barely watch King flopping around like a fish out of water. Hill clearly can’t win a possession if he has someone run with him, even a kid.

I couldn’t even watch most of the last quarter. Just pathetic

Any win is a good win. Give thanks, we don't have that many.

For a team making a statement - the last quarter's statement appeared to be "What?"

Lacked Killer instinct across the board.
Got the win - take the points - but I sure as the sun will rise tomorrow - will not be wearing the colors tomorrow.

Overrating the list, It was a horrible side out there, so slim in the midfield, surprised they won so easily

We should have buried them - but with a bit of luck - the ball bounces our way - we can beat swans next week - extra day etc etc

I’m watching the last quarter now. St Kilda look tired and sloppy. Fitness? Or Depression?

1 goal to 5 in the last.

This is 'putting the cue in the rack'.

It's the whole group saying at 3 qtr time,
'OK, we've done enough now, that's it, I'm outta here"

Well if they did, I'm staggered as to why? We hadn't exactly wiped the floor with north, in fact all we did up to that point was play less worse. It was a horrible, scrappy, unskilled affair befitting of two bottom teams unfortunately.

Reminds me of watching my son play under 9's footy at times.
Yes, we played less worse.
Norf are shot.
The only team that Battle can get 9 kicks+ 4 h/b, when he's been so poor this year.

3 qtr time the whole team took a deep breath and decided they'd done what they came to do, get the 4 points.

It's the feeling I've had when working late at work, and it's the final hour, the bosses have all gone home, and I'm just on autopilot for an hour

It just doesn’t look they are enjoying just playing footy in a game of footy.

I thought that one of the few positives yesterday was Battle's performance - looked a lot better yesterday

Yep a win is a win is a win. Better than a loss by far, I went to bed with, if not a grin, not a scow. 8-)

Playing away from home seemed to work ok for us last year, hopefully it will do the same this year. We’re just a bit light on for cattle at the moment.
