Lucky we have this Brisbane? supporter here to tell us what we should be discussing.
How have we gotten on without him for so long?

Deeply concerned concern troll is deeply concerned.
This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

The Hitler thing was more to do with the context position of 'why was it even raised in the first place at a St Kilda FC hosted function?' as opposed to direct finger pointing.Life Long Saint wrote: ↑Thu 20 May 2021 9:53amI quoted the article about Hitler...which you totally ignored.IanRush wrote: ↑Thu 20 May 2021 9:14amCollingwood Joffa arrested this morning over historical sex crime and Big Footy crew now discussing this St Kilda matter. If there were people in the club in the 60's and 70's that were abusing children, then they should be prosecuted and the club should disown them.
But that has nothing to do with the club now.
It's be like condemning the current Carlton admin for the slush fund used to quiet rape victims. It's not their fault it happened.
USELESS FACT: The WADA case against Essendon (in Sydney as well) is exactly 10 years to the day that Australia qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

I got my outcome, Essendon FC destroyed for a decade, which is what they deserved.Trev from the Bush wrote: ↑Thu 20 May 2021 12:32pmEspecially since his preferred Essendope thread finally ran out of steam!kosifantutti wrote: ↑Thu 20 May 2021 11:55am Lucky we have this Brisbane? supporter here to tell us what we should be discussing.

No question mark on the Brisbane needed.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Thu 20 May 2021 11:55am Lucky we have this Brisbane? supporter here to tell us what we should be discussing.

The pandemic meant we all had other priorities.
RE Essendope, the legacy was I have respect for Saints FC and it's supporters. Hence why I created yesterday thread out of concern and a quick action plan to remedy and move on.
Was very happy Saints got Darren, underrated coach who was shafted in 2012.

I would tell you to piss off but that's not being sociable to a bear supporter. But really, why don't you do us all a favour and limit yourself to the website of the team you support.

Re: Concerning Recent St Kilda Stories
From the ABC interview with Rod Owen, the Little League apparently wasn't run by the club, the article didn't say who funded the team (jumpers, drinks, etc) but the club let the team use Moorabbin?
Did wealthy supporters put money into it?
It started as SSB (State Savings Bank) Little League, the bank tipped money in?

2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn

Re: Concerning Recent St Kilda Stories
Ian Rush: brilliant player for Liverpool, retired last century had a huge nose and was Welsh. Apparently more accurate kick that Max but of course not as big. Seems very nice from all reports and would not try to conflate these stories with the current club officials, players, supporters. Was not an agent provocateur. Ian's lawyers are likely to seek to have all bogus messages sent under his name to this forum recalled and a public apology made for trolling under falseness.
