Should Essendon and Carlton prevail, in winnable games, next weekend and we lose to Footscray, we’ll slump to 13th on the ladder with a game in hand, but a miserable percentage compared to the Suns and Crows who’ll be propping us up.
Friday night’s loss makes this weekend’s match a must win game for us.
Another hammering will smash our percentage further and leave us in a perilous position just above the Suns and Crows who have better percentages than us.
What’s the chance then of us making the finals?!

No chance we can’t kick straight.
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

We are in the midst of a 5 year plan, trouble is, it started 55 years ago.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Plummeting fortunes
We can push the Dogs, but we'll need to be well above anything we've dished up in 2021 to win.
The three games after that are season defining. North, Sydney & Adelaide.
Win all three, we're 7-6 and on the cusp of the 8, if not in it.
Win two, 6-7 with a poor percentage, it'll be tough from there.
Win one or less, season over.

I love it! The season is done, we can not get into the 8. So let's tank it and grab a top 5 draft pick!!
Hell, we probably can tank without trying, just keep feeding King the ball....
