In the end we resorted to rubbish football with half the team just cruising, We have quite a few more experienced players who just didn't turn up as usual. Boy do we lack leadership
Pressure was excellent all night - it shows you bring that and we are in most games
Cats a big bodied side that brushed Tigers aside....we stuck tackles and got no reward off maggots
Sinclair great game
Bytel great game
Hill have run
Crouch/Steele superb
Frawley/backs did well - Hawkins has killed us off his boot in the past
We simply lack class finishers
Both up forward and through the middle with some outside run
IF we fix those as a priority we are and can be a good side
Take pressure off King - get his brother
Go hard at a top line mid (retire Hannebery)
Trade Billings now to get top line mid - we have seen his HFF best
We have to be bold to go forward
Our kid cupboard is bare ....
with ageing KP backs
Ageing ruck...
We have some issues and I’m not sure we are genuinely challenging in the next 2 years anyway with this list
Be bold but don’t eff up the recruiting!!!

We sure do. I've been saying that for a while. Only Steele shows true leadership and Marshall to a degree but his season has been hammered by injury.
Had a red hot go but with such inferior skills, lack of pace and at times poor decision making you will not beat a competent well drilled team. Another loss next week will put us in a good position for the mid season draft but I don’t trust our recruiting staff to pick up anyone worthwhile more likely to pass on all selections
This year we have kicked 92 goals & 105 points, less than 50% that's disgraceful.
As reported on the coverage we are the 3rd worst on goal kicking accuracy this year and the worst at set shots. Plus we are the 2nd worst from conceding goals from turnovers in our forward 50.

Totally agree re our recruiting I thought they had turned the corner when they got rid of Elshaugh, but Liberatore hasn't been a whole lot better.
That on top what we have given up in $$$ for Hill & Hannebrey, Lethlean & Gallagher as a list managers havent been much better than our recruitment team.
As I said in another post, more than 25% of our list are not AFL standard players. You wont have sustained sucess with a list with absolutely no depth on most levels.
