Five day break after playing in heat

Why the hell do the AFL do it? Middle of the hot arvo on the GC then a 5 day break. Absolutely ridiculous fixturing.

Gee and here's me thinking that there was 6 days between Saturday and Friday - it was when i went to Primary School
In fact given they played yesterday early afternoon Saturday then surely officially (using god's clock) , six days ( 6 @ 24 hrs) will have passed by Friday afternoon. With the game scheduled for Friday evening, try as I might I cant come up with 5 days.

So when is a full week's break ?? - if the next game was sunday?
It cant be Saturday (which in reality would be 7 days since they last played - ie. a week), because presumably following the original c**k a hoop logic, Saturday would only be 6 days (because Friday is a "five day break" after playing on the previous Saturday

The world has not been the same since they introduced "new maths" :D :?

Five days of preparation due to being interstate. Can’t include game day.

Geez our club would have no hope of getting anywhere if this was the kind of stuff they worried about...

Just a ridiculous advantage when there’s no need for them to do it.

Ran out of legs who’d have thought the fresher team finished better.

yep
but if we were 11.3 instead of 3.11 at half time we would have won the game comfortably
