Sue people for wishful thinking and hoping for the best but our season will be over next week when we get smashed by 80 points.

I dont think it was lucky. We were the better team for the last 3 quarters. GC got 3 in a row in the 3rd but that was a pretty good little run from the umpires for all 3... we were the better team clearly overall

10-3 in the clearances in the last q

Ryder took most of the centre bounces

10 touches to Crouch in the last

Hunter Clarke just shows class when you can use it with vision
Shout out to Joyce - massive run through that pack when it was hot !!
Ryder gun
Higgins stood up in the end
Max King - still maintain IF he can start to clunk those then geezys look out but on the ground he’s still important
Gutsy win

Crouch was very good.
Howard and Wilkie held the backline together.
Billings and Steele were good all day.
Clark was great.

Our entries improved in the last quarter.

They all lifted at the end.

Despite a slow few initial games, it’s clear why Crouch was brought in

Very good player

We get the four points - but seriously - it feels like having spent the last 2 1/2 hours dancing with a relative.

Still feel that whilst Hunter Clark is seen as calm and composed with the ball, hes often way too slow when hes chasing the defender. Im not sure if its that he simply doesnt have the tank for it, or is not a fast runner, or just doesnt try? But his lack of speed is noticeable when he doesn't have the ball. Will stop him from becoming elite in this league.

That was a big win over the Suns compared to our last four over them.

Really enjoyed the game. We could only play as well as the opposition let us and they were pretty good as they have been all season. Very pleased with the pluck displayed by our boys in the last quarter.

Rubbish at the start of the 3rd quarter he was excellent sitting us up and he at least has some energy
Watch the replay, his turnovers by foot exposed us badly. Yes, he can do some excellent stuff and plays straight ahead football but he can butcher it by foot. Coming out of the backline it really exposes us.

Sinclair was clean when it counted and did a couple of important things at the end in the backline when the pressure was on --- he was a game saver.

He goes at the same speed. Most look slower chasing. Not a knock, just the way he is. Glad he plays for us.
