Re: Coffield vs Clark
Bump
Both had an impact yesterday.
Coff had some very nice intercept marks and his disposal efficiency was close to 90%
Clark was the main act in the highlights package, but he was also a beast with contested footy and he laid 6 tackles
I think we have a core of very talented youth and ...good leadership potential
Would love to see Clark as one of our co captains in the future

Re: Coffield vs Clark
Clark is going to be some player.
Coffield, I thought was excellent yesterday. A very cool head and exceptional decision making for a young player.
Very happy with both of them.

Re: Coffield vs Clark
Clark is a more dynamic player. He has already shown more versatility. I'm not as enamored with Coffield as some on here. He reminds me a bit of Goddard, but I don't think he seems as self assured. I hope his ceiling is much higher than he's showing at the moment.

Clark. Just.

Re: Coffield vs Clark
Both good in their own ways.
Both currently B Grade with the ability to develop into A Grade
Clark - needs to improve running power
Coffield - have more self belief

Re: Coffield vs Clark
Both are good players with a big future, but I would love to see the club hire them a sprint coach in the off season to improve their speed over the first 5-10 metres. Become more dynamic out of taffic rather than coasting like they do.
That would lift both their games to the next level...

Re: Coffield vs Clark
To me, Coffield still has periods in the game where he seems confused.
Watch him closely and he (at times) cares more about structures than attacking the ball.
He quite often finds himself in areas where he totally removes himself from the game and therefore we lose his best credential, being able to intercept mark.
Not sure if this is following coaches orders or a lack of concentration but I would find it hard to believe the Ratts would want this.
Clark, simply forgets to do the basics at times and can come across as trying to be the hero too often.

Re: Coffield vs Clark
Too early to tell...
They're in very different roles as well.
Coffield has had 2 very poor games this year and do has Clarke.
Coffield has always been more efficient with disposal but Clarke has made significant plays.
Close very close.
